I’ve been really lucky in my career so far and have project managed a huge variety of books from concept through to publication for clients including ELC, Chad Valley and M&S. Each project offered different challenges and creative opportunities, from pop-up books with their nesting sheets and glue points to reference books which let me flex my organisational skills and taught me interesting facts about dinosaurs along the way! Not forgetting the picture, sound, board and cloth books for which I commissioned some very talented authors, artists, audio technicians and educational consultants. I have also managed the brands of some licenses too! As editor on these books I got to oversee the development every step of the way which is a challenging and fulfilling job that I got so much out of!
